FMTC Tips and Tricks - To Call or Not to Call ... That is the Question.
FMTC Internet Service is glad to help you out with Internet related problems. However, there are a number of Internet services and programs that we either are not familiar with or have never used, so this list is meant to show you that which we support, that which we will try to help you with, and that which we do not support.
We Support the following programs and situations
- Internet Explorer 4.x, 5.x, and 6.x
- Netscape 6.x and 7.x
- Outlook Express 4.x, 5.x, and 6.x
- Smart FTP
- Macintosh Remote Access
- Modem trouble
- Connectivity issues
- Email problems
- Browsing problems
- Web hosting problems
- *Networking (Internet Connection sharing over a LAN and DSL home networks)
We may require you to bring your computer in for support with the following:
- Internet Explorer 2.x
- Netscape 2.x and 3.x
- Microsoft Internet Mail & News
- Eudora
- Pegasus Mail
- Macintosh PPP and FreePPP
We Do NOT support the following:
- Dialup access in Linux
- Dialup access in Windows 3.x
- Other ISP's Services (Hotmail, MSN, AOL)
- Non Internet Related Services (Faxing with modems, MS Office, Quickbooks billpay via Internet)
- Hardware (printers, scanners, digital cameras)
- Internet Games or Game Servers
- Firewall and anti-virus software
- Instant Messaging and IRC software
- Web Design programs such as Frontpage and Dreamweaver
- Phone Line problems
- Virus-infected computers
- Email, web, FTP, or any other type of server
- Anything else that is not mentioned in the"We support the following Programs" section
* - If you'd like FMTC Internet to help you out with a network, we will have to be on-site for that and we will charge at an hourly rate.
