FMTC Tips and Tricks - Getting the "Save Password" to Work

  1. Click on Start, then Settings, the Control Panel
  2. Double-click the Network Icon.
  3. Click the Add button
  4. A list of Network components that you can install comes up. Choose Client then click Add
  5. On the left side scroll down to Microsoft, and on the right side the Client for Microsoft Networks should appear. Select it and click OK.
  6. Now go to the identification tab and type a name to identify the computer (whatever you want) and type Farmers as your workgroup.
  7. Click OK. The system will prompt you to restart the machine. Click Yes.
  8. Next time you sign on to the Internet you should have the option for saving your password.
