Talk to your kids about what's appropriate and what's not, and why. Remember that nothing can replace Mom or Dad as co-pilot. You may even consider keeping the password to yourself and dialing in for your children. However, if you can't be there all the time when your kids are surfing, you may wish to investigate one of the 'filtering' titles designed to block access to sites carrying adult material. Some of these titles include:

CyberPatrol - C|Net's pick for the best filter; seems to block more objectionable sites than other products.

Surfwatch - very easy to install and use, but tends to inadvertently block sites with useful information.

NetNanny - doesn't seem to block as many sites out of the box as other packages, but is very customizable.
